In this new part-time position in Chicago, you will be a key member of a marketing team of four that is responsible for promoting JCA products and services. You will be responsible for executing marketing plans to support the nonprofit software promotion and sales aspects of JCA. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized team player with a solid knowledge of digital marketing, skills in graphic design, and an interest in the nonprofit world.

The Marketing Associate supports the marketing team in the execution of marketing strategy and plans for the nonprofit software aspects of JCA. Specific responsibilities include:
Digital Marketing: Execute campaigns across multiple channels (email, social, search, display); produce performance information for analysis; produce all JCA webinars.
Website Maintenance: Update content and coordinate edits; coordinate technical enhancements; act as the super user for our CMS platform
Graphic Design: Design digital and print materials (brochures, email graphics, social graphics, banner ads) for digital campaigns and tradeshows.
Tradeshow Marketing: Coordinate JCA's presence at conferences and tradeshows, including exhibit coordination, shipping logistics, travel arrangements, and special events.
Though the Marketing Associate works primarily with the marketing team, this role is often require to work with people across the organization to coordinate promotions.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or nonprofit management. Other qualifications include:
Solid knowledge of digital marketing, including email, social, SEO, SEM, display.
Basic graphic design skills for both print and digital.
Experience using an email platform (Emma a bonus).
Experience using a CMS platform (Umbraco a bonus).
Knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords, and Remarketing.
Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of marketing automation tools a bonus (HubSpot a bonus).
Additionally, the ideal candidate will also have excellent organizational and project management skills, an ability to take initiative to solve problems, and a curiosity to learn more and apply best practices.
