Essential FunctionsWebsite Content Management and Analytics -Lead the review and analysis of Google Analytics for harris.uchicago.edu on a regular basis to review key engagement metrics and to evaluate the performance of the site to optimize the user experience; and ensuring SEO, metatagging, and other web strategies are appropriately and consistently incorporated.-With the Associate Director of Marketing, ensure consistent brand deployment across all website assets, including microsites and stand-alone pages, including oversight that new web assets adhere to appropriate Harris and sub-brand identity guidelines; including making style and content edits as needed.-Consistently and strategically view web content to ensure that dynamic storytelling features on our website are up-to-date and impactful. -Act as a Communications and Marketing team representative on the website governance committee, co-managing website content and analytics strategy, implementation, and reporting in partnership with IT. -Support the Communications and Marketing team in executing special web projects on behalf of other Harris units, including strategy and development for new microsites and pages.Email Marketing-Working closely with a consultant, evaluate the current constellation of email marketing platforms, plans, and lists across Harris units, with an eye toward streamlining and coordinating email communications to targeted audiences as part of a coordinated influencer marketing strategy.-Develop and implement a school-wide email marketing strategy and calendar with an eye toward audience segmentation, influencer identification and outreach.-Offer support and advisement to Harris units regarding email strategy and campaigns.-Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing and communications email campaigns designed to increase audience engagement and reach.-Maintain CRM database and list organization (including audience and media lists), including identification and segmentation for various email campaigns.-Review analytics for email marketing campaigns, and provide regular reporting on and evaluation of outcomes.General-Help shepherd projects through ideation, design, production, and delivery.-Provide administrative support to the daily communications activities of the Harris Communications and Marketing team, such as project management on Marketing Specialist projects and assistance in managing Harris' photo library and other content assets-Assist with communications needs of other Harris' units, faculty members, and student groups as needed.-Assist with special projects as they arise.-Track, report, and follow up on open issues. Draft associated communications as appropriate. -Perform other related duties as assigned.
