Oversee all marketing for City Center Bishop Ranch (CCR). Responsible for the development and execution of CCBR’s pre- and grand-opening plan. Post-opening, the marketing director will be responsible for the creation and implementation of initiatives and programs designed to enhance the CCBR experience and maximize foot traffic and sales potential. This includes, but is not limited to, strategic planning, budget management, events and programming, tenant relations, business development (sponsorship), advertising, promotions, social media, public relations and community relations.
Collaborate with the general manager and executive team to create and execute the pre-and grand-opening marketing plan and budget.
Develop and implement post-opening annual marketing plan and budget, incorporating innovative and well-defined strategies and tactics in support of the property’s vision and goals.
Work with internal stakeholders and the creative agency to further develop CCBR branding, positioning and messaging. Maintain brand standards in all marketing initiatives, internal and external communications.
Plan, promote and implement year-round and seasonal signature events as well as common area programming and activation.
Develop and roll out integrated advertising and collateral to support and promote initiatives that generate positive results for the overall success of CCBR.
Collaborate with sponsorship consultant to achieve sponsorship goals and obtain partnerships that add value to the CCBR experience.
Drive, support and monitor digital marketing initiatives and messaging – specifically on the website, email and social media platforms. Oversee and maintain all content assuring accuracy and brand voice. Increase awareness of CCBR and tenant promotions, events, partnerships and customer/community engagement.
Establish and maintain positive relations and consistent communications with tenants to maximize productivity and success through merchant-focused programs and participation.
Work with the PR firm to generate positive media exposure for CCBR and its tenants.
Establish and foster relationships within the community, positioning CCBR as a socially responsible community resource and partner.
Develop and maintain the marketing budget, manage expenses, provide monthly re-forecasts and variance reports.
Manage and maintain Wi-Fi and loyalty consumer engagement programs.
Oversee and facilitate the Concierge program and contribute to the development of amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Manage the Art in Public Places Program
Evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing initiatives based on overall sales and/or foot traffic results, publicity value, tenant success and community support.
Additional responsibilities and duties may be requested by the General Manager, SVP, Marketing and SVP, Retail.
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism or related field desired.
Minimum 5 Years marketing and event development/planning/execution experience in the shopping center, retail, restaurant and/or entertainment industry
Upscale retail experience is a big plus
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage digital assets (website CMS, social media, and CRM platforms).
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task with a flexible outlook towards task management.
