The CEO, reporting to the PEP Board of Directors, provides leadership in implementing the strategic, programmatic, financial, administrative, advocacy and fundraising strategies of PEP.
Align practice and work with the agency mission, vision, guiding principles, strategic plan as well as the trauma?informed Sanctuary Model® and the Re?ED philosophy.
Provide oversight of the development and implementation of short and long term planning, policies and procedures.
Establish well?defined, measurable standards and gauge individual and organizational progress/performance toward goals and objectives across programs. Ensure clear communication to staff and board on goals and objectives.
Establish excellent communication with Board of Directors ensuring collaboration on strategic direction of organization.
Provide oversight and collaborate with Chief Financial Officer in preparing the annual budget.
Maintain knowledge of financial strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Management and Administrative
Provide oversight and collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure efficient operation of the agency including information technology, human resources, quality assurance and property management.
Provide oversight and collaborate with Chief Program Officer to ensure strategic program development, education compliance, academic achievement and program outcomes.
Provide oversight and collaborate with Chief Clinical Officer to ensure agency is complying with mental health regulations, meeting appropriate outcomes and implementing clinical adjustments for managed care when necessary.
Provide oversight of the fund development strategy for the agency.
Along with Chief External Affairs Officer and board members, meet with funders and donors as necessary to help advance mission of agency.
Provide oversight and collaborate with the Chief External Affairs Officer in representing the agency with a positive image in the community.
Represent the agency at various external events, meetings and speaking engagements with funders, government officials, education professionals and other stakeholders as it relates to driving the mission of the organization.
Four-year bachelor degree required. Advanced degrees in mental health and/or education strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 plus years of proven leadership skills and successful managerial experience in special education, mental health or related field is required.
Experience leading service delivery model strongly preferred.
