Job Role Summary
ExxonMobil located in Spring, Texas is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to advance and execute its natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGL) marketing and business development strategies across ExxonMobil’s global markets.
Job Role Responsibilities
• Develop and execute supply and market strategies for natural gas or NGLs in support of key upstream resource opportunity capture • Support commercialization of opportunities and resulting projects from initial stages through implementation • Support development, prioritization and selection of commercial, and as applicable, technical concepts, for new and existing assets and their associated logistics development • Create and capture value across the value chain through commercial actions • Develop and maintain relationships with market participants • Negotiate sales and purchase, transportation, and service agreements and manage existing long term agreements as needed
Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results through a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated teamwork, communication and leadership skills are essential. Candidate should be flexible with regard to domestic and international travel with a willingness to consider future assignments outside of the United States. Skill requirements are as follows: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering - preferably Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical. Other degrees will be considered commensurate with work experience • A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience required • Current experience and knowledge of North American NGL or natural gas markets, including LNG exports, and associated infrastructure • Knowledge of market fundamentals, associated relevant regulations, and standard industry contracting practices • Previous experience in NGL or gas scheduling; market analysis considered an asset • Experience in negotiation, commercial design, origination, contract development and relationship management • Experience in asset management / asset divestment • Strong project management and change management skills • Strong value creation orientation and optimization skills
