Promote a positive and professional atmosphere consistent with the mission of Seattle University, Department of Athletics, and the philosophy of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Ability to use problem-solving and ethical decision-making skills on a daily basis in line with NCAA Compliance to provide service to internal and external constituents. Plan and execute marketing and promotional plans for three to four sports. Provide group ticket sales support (particularly Women's Basketball). Assist in executing the fulfillment of the corporate/game sponsorship agreements and manage all in-game elements and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with game management staff on marketing and promotional efforts for games including scheduling halftime acts, ball kids, national anthem and color guard talent. Collaborate with the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing and Development, Assistant Director for Corporate Sponsorship and other campus constituents to drive attendance. Solicit on-campus support for athletics (students and faculty/staff). Supervise undergraduate student promotions staff (i.e. Flight Squad & Rudy). Serve as Women's/ Men's Basketball stage manager.

Graduate assistantships are only available for fully admitted students of the Master in Sport Business Leadership (MSBL) program. While GA positions can be a great way to help pay for your graduate education, these positions are intended for those students who fully intend to work in collegiate athletics or university settings. You will be an integral part of SU’s Athletic Department. These positions require energy, commitment, and a high level of self-accountability and responsibility.

Current bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Admitted and pursuing a sports business leadership graduate degree (MSBL) at Seattle University.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop strong working knowledge of and adherence to NCAA compliance rules and Seattle University institutional policies.
Excellent computer skills with strong attention to detail.
Must be able to multitask and deal with multiple situations.
Motivated and be able to work independently in a team oriented environment.
Ability to pass a background check.
Previous experience working in an athletics setting.
Previous marketing experience preferred.
