The Senior Manager of Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of marketing and communications activities that drive greater member engagement and contribute to the growth of CAI while enhancing its brand. Serving as the team leader and department liaison for CAI’s marketing strategy for the following departments—membership including recruiting, chapter relations, education, and events. We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional with sharp writing skills who can be an innovative campaign strategist with dynamic tactics for positioning CAI in the marketplace. The ideal candidate has a proven track record for creating marketing initiatives that raise awareness, drive interest, and increase membership, attendance, and revenue for an organization. The Senior Manager manages one direct report, the digital marketing/social media strategist.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
Skills: Strong copy writing, editing (AP Style) and project management skills; ability to work with graphic designers, vendors, and consultants to produce effective marketing materials and programs; sound knowledge of printing, production and mailing requirements; ability to use CAI's website (Sharepoint), proficiency in e-mail marketing platforms (Real Magnet and Sharp Spring), and social media channels (Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn); ability to work cooperatively with individuals in other departments and, on occasion, CAI members; ability to develop, implement and manage marketing and lead-gen plans using (High Road Solution and Sharepoint); proven experience developing, monitoring and tracking via Google Analytics annual marketing and advertising budget of 100k; experience purchasing digital and print advertising to support marketing promotion; ability to recognize the need for research and develop appropriate surveys (Survey Monkey) to measure the effectiveness of marketing messages, initiatives and vehicles; ability to track, analyze and report results of marketing efforts.
