The Marketing Coordinator will develop, implement and execute strategic marketing, digital, branding and promotional plans for its assigned sports. The ideal candidate will identify and execute innovative elements to ensure an entertaining and engaging in-venue atmosphere at assigned sporting events; work with the ticket office to coordinate ticket sales and attendance initiatives, maximize revenue streams and other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
Actively participates in planning, development and implementation of short and long-range marketing strategies. Works closely and collaboratively with Communications, Operations and Ticket Sales teams to develop and implement marketing, promotional, social media and digital advertising plans and campaigns.
Assume responsibility for planning and implementation of efforts to drive ticket revenue, game day attendance and overall brand awareness. Generates revenue through season ticket sales, single game and group ticket sales.
Create and manage department budgets.
Responsible for campus marketing, communications, partnerships, sponsorship and alumni relations; provides strategic direction and executes marketing and communications plans that promote and inspire campus participation.
Conceptualizes, executes and oversees the creation of marketing collateral (i.e. print, digital).
Develops targeted, measurable media efforts across paid, owned, earned and trade channels
Develops new and expands on existing marketing strategies to drive traffic, revenue in an efficient way.
Strategically lead marketing efforts to support all arena business initiatives with a focus on goal-oriented campaign development and management, cross-department collaboration, superior creative execution, integrated tactics, and data-driven decision making.
Establish program objectives, develop integrated strategies, and provide seamless execution of campaigns and projects to achieve revenue objectives, brand goals, awareness, database growth and engagement.
Ability to leverage internal assets/channels and develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners and promoters.
Define key metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives; utilize reporting, develop insights and communicate program and strategies to key members of the athletic department.
Bachelor’s degree required (ideally in Marketing, Business or a related field), minimum of 1-3 years of experience required.
Ideal candidate will have experience with digital marketing and google analytics, experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver.
Must be a proactive thinker who is interested in developing and executing new ideas to better improve the efficiency of the overall brand.
Organized and detail oriented person who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Be a thought leader and early adopter of new and effective marketing strategies, with a constant goal of enhancing the guest experience and supporting business initiatives.
Candidates must be able to work a non-standard work week including nights, weekends & holidays.
