The Membership and Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to grow, maintain and communicate with a network of podiatry professionals. The manager is responsible for managing plans, programs, services and collateral in support of TPMA. There is opportunity for the right person to make a positive impact in these areas.

Duties Related to Membership
To enhance the overall member experience and grow the membership, the Manager will work with the TPMA staff to:
Execute membership plan as it relates to member retention.
Execute membership plan as relates to recruitment and identify recruitment opportunities at podiatry related events.
Organize communications to members via mailings, electronic communication, website and social media vehicles.
Organize membership content for websites, newsletters, publications, and other promotional materials.
Serve as a staff liaison to the Membership and Communication Committees.
Assist, attend and interact with members at hosted events, including TPMA Annual Conference & Business Meeting, Southwest Foot & Ankle Conference, local marketing events and special programs. Some travel is required.
Duties Related to Member Services
To develop and execute member services portfolio, duties include but are not limited to:
Development and manage a portfolio of member programs and services. Based on member feedback, recommend new products and services.
Organize communications and marketing materials to members via mailings, electronic communication, website and social media vehicles as relates to member benefits.
Duties Related to Marketing and Communications
In conjunction with the TPMA staff, help develop, manage and execute marketing plans and materials for membership and events:
Maintain annual marketing plan/calendar for membership and the annual conference and assist in implementation of marketing efforts.
Assist with content and design of collateral material, including print and digital.
Plan and distribute e-newsletter and other communications.
Assist with managing association’s social media efforts, generating content from marketing and communications material.
Track and analyze marketing and communications activities and outreach efforts.
Duties Related to Database Maintenance and Integrity
Perform the following duties as they relate to database maintenance and integrity:
Input and organize content as it applies to new member information, member involvement, and creating new memberships.
Plan, schedule and conduct regular data quality assessments and clean-up.
Produce and develop reports to facilitate targeted membership statistics, create list for committees, etc.
Assist members in navigating membership database and online member login portal.
Recommend methods for maintaining the integrity of member information.
Membership Renewals – Create monthly membership dues renewal invoices and assist with processing payments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least four (4) years experience in a responsible office environment and demonstrated general office skills, preferably in an association.
Proficiency in use of a computer, standard office equipment, MS Word, Excel and related computer application programs. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
At least two (2) years experience with database, marketing and social media management.
Effective and friendly communicator, detail oriented, well-organized with ability to multi-task.
Ability to meet established deadlines.
Team player who works well with staff, members and volunteers.
Availability to work some evenings and weekends.
This position receives direct supervision from the Association Manager and indirect supervision from the Executive Director and has authority necessary to perform all actions required of the job as described herein.
