Responsible for defining key business measures and objectives for the university's websites and mobile app. Develop long-term strategic goals for web and app-based marketing and communications, and provides oversight of the digital user experience.
Oversees enterprise marketing technology solutions including the content management system (CMS); provide direction in day to day operations to staff in development and maintenance of CMS tools and templates that support the internal-users and provide a positive user-experience for external visitors.
Lead web team responsible for website production, SEO, and website maintenance.
Directs the efforts to develop, maintain and update the University's app design and content.
Establish and build relationships, with cross-functional marketing teams to develop a centralized web marketing plan and make improvements to the overall user-experience.
Leads the team in establishing processes to track and analyze the performance of online campaigns.
Conducts website and app user and customer surveys/demographic research. Identify, evaluate and recommend online marketing opportunities in line with Division objectives.
Manage third party contractors and vendors to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time and on budget.
Present and conduct group discussions on web and app-based marketing strategies and promoting user-experience for a broad range of internal audiences.
May research, write, and edit content for web pages as needed.

Bachelors and 5 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience and a strong track record for leading cross-functional teams.
