The IUPUI Office of Alumni Relations is a department of the Indiana University Alumni Association (IUAA) which brings more than 710,000 graduates together to support one another and the University throughout their lives. The IUAA activates a powerful global network through live events, webinars, chartered alumni communities, scholarship programs, and seriously fun traditions. The association connects alumni, students, and friends through communications, activities, programs, and services. Additionally, it develops and supports volunteer leadership, serves as a voice for alumni as the university evolves, and provides lifelong learning opportunities.

The Indiana University Alumni Association marketing department seeks a Project Manager with marketing experience. The Marketing Project Manager provides project management and production coordination to internal IU Alumni Association marketing clients, coordinates clients' job requests submitted to the Alumni Marketing department, and updates and maintains an electronic project log.
The Marketing Project Manager works directly with internal clients to develop marketing strategy and creative concepts. The successful candidate cultivates relationships with alumni, external organizations, and internal constituents in order to accomplish marketing objectives. This role is located in Indianapolis and collaborates closely with alumni marketing staff members who work out of the Bloomington IUAA headquarters.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Informatics, or a closely related field and two years of project management, account representative, or related experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to exchange information clearly and effectively using a variety of mediums. Ability to provide exceptional customer service and effectively manage relationships with clients and team members. Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to work effectively under deadlines, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and manage data accurately. Ability to use a Mac or PC and demonstrated proficiency with a web content management system. Keen understanding of marketing strategy, digital marketing and content management platforms. Ability to turn big ideas into executable plans and to offer constructive feedback. Ability to provide a marketing perspective in planning meetings and enforce established marketing brand guidelines and marketing department processes. Ability to relate to a wide variety of people, from seasoned professionals to enthusiastic students. Problem solving skills. Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and a detailed-oriented mindset.
Two years of experience in higher education or a non-profit organization. Understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with an email service provider such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a web-based project management system such as Workfront. Experience in marketing strategy and digital marketing.
