Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
Plan and deliver a series of internal and external brand activations including leadership conferences, select client hospitality engagements and, sponsorships
World class management and execution of all sponsorships and events for best in class experience, including DBS' marquee event DBS Marina Regatta, taking place in June 2020
Manage Sponsorships policy and process sponsorships
Help manage event and activation agencies to plan, communicate and bring to live the brand message and experience. This includes onboarding agencies and structuring legal agreements.
Ensure procurement and contract processes are all complied with by partners, agencies and vendors
Track budget for entire sponsorship and events functions
Collaborate with teams within and beyond Group Strategic Marketing & Communications to push out agenda/programme, content using the full marketing & communications suite
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to understand the bigger strategic thrust of Group Strategic Marketing & Communications and how events & activations contribute to achieving that
2-4 years' experience in a communication function, knowledge and experience in Sponsorships and events would be an advantage
Creative, meticulous, responsible and resourceful
Energetic and driven with a positive, can-do spirit
Ability to multi-task across various projects with tight timelines
