Basic website updates. Basic graphic editing (email banners, updating documents, flyer templates). Coordinate printing of promotional materials: interface with print and mail house. Promotional support for campus events (post on local event calendars too). Social media support, support campus stakeholders, host live events on Instagram and Facebook. Maintain and organize media and document library (Dropbox). Photography and video of campus events (once we are back on campus). Reporting support. PowerPoint preparation. Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of related experience in marketing and communications. Knowledge of basic HTML and CMS (HNU uses WordPress). Strong communications, copy editing, and proofing skills. Photoshop and InDesign proficiency and strong creative and design skills. Photographyexperience. Excellent organization and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, agile marketing environment. Ability to anticipate and embrace change; willingness to acquire new skills and take on challenging tasks. Ability to develop strong working relationships with staff, faculty, students, and alumni. Higher education experience is a plus but is not required.
