The Marketing and Proposal Manger is responsible for managing and providing oversight and direction to the marketing staff by delegating work and responsibilities. They will lead by example by demonstrating the KBE Core values and promote excellence and accountability for work performed.
They will be experienced in participating in and/or building strategic marketing programs/concepts and selling the strategic programs to the Executive level.
Managing and developing RFP/RFQ responses and Client Interviews for potential projects; Oversees the production of graphic design, email, database, and website maintenance and support.
Responsibilities:
Proposals and Qualifications (RFQ, RFP and Client Presentations
Participate in all go-no-go decisions
Develops strategic response, working with business development, Principals and the Director of Marketing
Prepare selected proposals, qualifications, and interviews
Package and deliver proposals, responsible for overall assemble of final submission
Maintain marketing data for projects, personnel and corporate information used for proposals and internal/external communications
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of our CRM information
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations; Journalism or Communications.
7+ years marketing experience in construction (preferred), engineering or architectural industry; graphic design skills essential
Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams;
Staff management experience required;
Experience in proposal writing, editing, proofreading and preparation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication;
High proficiency in InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Familiarity with CRM software experience required. A proven track record of having strong attention to detail and focus on error-free output;
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
Exceptional time management;
Ability to think strategically about how to best position KBE to prospective clients when responding to a proposal or other client-focused communication;
Actively involved in at least one key industry organization, working at the committee or board level;
All other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with AEC360 system
Ability to use Viewpoint
Strong, creative graphic design skills, experience in Illustrator or Photoshop
Construction industry experience or similar highly preferred
