Our client is a leading, global investor in the secondary private equity market. They provide liquidity to a number of LP's from buyout, mezzanine, venture capital and real estate funds as well as exit opportunities for GP's. They are keen to bring on board a top calibre Marketing professional to join their established London teamto work up until October 2021 for a maternity cover role. Start date would ideally be between now and March. There is a chance this contract could be extended. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively implement the Firm's marketing and communication strategies
Help manage the Firm's brand and reputation by creating opportunities for visibility through organising speaking engagements and conference sponsorships
Support in the management of the firm's digital presence, including: the firm's website and social media channels; proprietary webinars; external conference and media sites
Work closely with the research team to draft briefing documents for the Investment team ahead of conferences, events and networking opportunities
Develop event strategy, context, and target audiences (using Salesforce)
YOUR PROFILE:
Educated to degree level with experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, conference production or PR within the alternatives space or wider financial services industry
Former marketing qualification would be desirable but not a pre-requisite
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Experience, or understanding of, marketing dynamics in the private equity industry would be helpful but not required
