The Marketing and Communications Specialist will play a key role in creating greater awareness of Vision Maker Media (VMM), a national nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, Nebraska. VMM's primary purpose is to deliver high quality broadcast content to Public Broadcasting. We work with independent producers and stations across the country to fund, produce, distribute and market 3 to 10 programs annually. We are also involved in the professional development of filmmakers through workshops and regular communications, as well as youth media and film festival tour. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will report to the Director of Programs and Projects.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field plus one year Marketing or related experience in industry or business; equivalent education/experience considered. Excellent writing, website, social media and graphic design skills.
Knowledge of Native American Cultures. Experience with InDesign, Tableau, Drupal, video editing, and Filemaker Pro desired.
