Essential Functions: The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business is seeking to fill two Tenure-Track/Tenured faculty positions for the Fall of 2023. One position will be at the assistant professor level, while the other one maybe at the associate or full professor levels. Candidates will be expected to conduct research suitable for publications in top-tier journals, teach courses in areas of interest at the undergraduate and graduate level, participate in department and school activities, and perform related duties as assigned. We expect the candidate to be a fully engaged participant in the life of the Mike Ilitch School of Business. Qualifications: Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from an AACSB accredited program or a Ph.D. in a related field. The ideal candidate needs to provide evidence of potential to publish in top academic journals in areas that complement well with the research focus of the program's faculty members. The ideal candidate would have interest in and experience teaching courses related to purchasing, logistics, or production planning and management; and would have interest in, or experience in, the complex manufacturing (including the automotive industry) or health care industries.
