Brandeis International Business School seeks to hire an Email Marketing Specialist to work on the Marketing Communications team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying emails.

Key Responsibilities:
Design emails according to best practices for internal (faculty, staff, current students) and external (alumni, friends, donors, prospective students) audiences
Draft copy for emails and manage approval processes for email content
Create graphics and edit/size photos for emails
Evaluate email workflows and advise on improvements for better performance
Work across departments to develop and execute an email plan focused on increasing engagement
Coordinate emails and create/manage an email calendar including communications from all departments for all audiences
Build, automate and deploy email campaigns that encourage applications and drive new/repeat visitors to the website
Plan and execute A/B testing to improve email performance
Perform Q/A on all emails ⢠Ensure tracking is in place on all emails
Review email metrics to evaluate performance, establish benchmarks and identify areas for improvement
Create email reports for all departments
Other Responsibilities
Assist with making edits to the business school website
Help create social media graphics and event posters when needed
Become a brand style guide expert to ensure compliance on all marketing materials
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but other education and experiences welcomed.
Three or more years of relevant experience.
Experience with higher education communications is preferred. Experience with donor communications a plus.
Writing, communication and editing skills.
Exceptional organization skills.
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
Knowledge of email best practices and design. Experience with BeePro a plus.
Experience with Photoshop required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, photography, graphic design and videography/video editing a plus.
Experience with CRM tools. Slate, iModules and Pardot a plus.
Experience with web design and content management systems a plus.
Needs to be a self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn is a must.
