As the division grows, we are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer. This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Information Systems, you will partner with business owners to provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in support of back-end processes, integrations, and technical leadership for the platform. You will manage the platform and deliver new system functionality to the University Advancement marketing team and its partners at Carnegie Mellon University. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of enhancements to the platform.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with members of the technology and marketing teams to manage and enhance SFMC tool
Leading requirements and development efforts, translating vision into aligned technical solutions
SQL based query development, data management and optimization
Building custom reporting and data exports
Creating dynamic and complex scripting solutions
Performing testing and quality assurance activities
Maintaining technical knowledge of the SFMC platform
Supporting integrations with other Salesforce solutions like Sales and Experience Cloud
Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent level of experience and/or industry certifications is required
Three or more years of Marketing Automation Administration experience and strong knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform and Marketing Cloud Connect
Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configuration, testing and other implementation activities
Ability to develop responsive dynamic email templates
SQL Master and strong understanding of Marketing Cloud's contact data model
