Leads short- and long-range strategic planning activities to create and implement fund-raising goals and objectives. Responsible for soliciting major gifts. Coordinates day-to-day development strategies and activities including alumni and foundation. Ensures their integration into the College’s overall Strategic Plan.
Reports to the Chief Advancement Officer
Prepares fundraising plans and campaigns, ensures compliance with the Foundation’s strategies, and supervises fundraising activities
Solicits major gifts
Prepares annual budgets and event budgets, including all projections for revenue and expenses
Works closely with Finance and provides necessary information for the Foundation audit including required schedules
Prepares the annual Foundation Scholarship Pledge
Develops and administers all fundraising strategies and ensures adherence to annual development plans and achieves development objectives and maintains an effective network of all community organizations to provide support to all development activities
Analyzes all fundraising policies, designs, implements an effective recruitment plan to facilitate all fundraising activities, and performs regular research on all public and private foundations
Develops and maintains professional relationships with donors and performs required research to provide a portfolio for all donors
Ensures optimal usage of all fundraising software
Monitors gift cycle for all development activities
Promotes Atlantic Cape to various prospective and existing donors
Supervises staff responsible for alumni, foundation activities, and database functions
Recruits and monitors volunteers that support various events and activities
Works with Chief Advancement Officer to prepare all annual development reports, analyze trends and provide necessary recommendations for improvement
