All AMWA staff are required to work in the DC office at least 2 days per week.  Proof of vaccination is required.

Job Summary

Assists with the marketing and execution of AMWA events, as well as support of membership marketing.  Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Help develop marketing campaigns for AMWA events and programs, as well as membership.
• Write event copy, social media posts, newsletter articles, and membership correspondence.
• Coordinate and execute webinars and other online or in-person events.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of comprehensive task lists (pre, onsite, and post) for executive management and water policy conferences.
• Assists in speaker management for events.
• Coordinate the design of graphics for website and social media as needed.
• Coordinate the publication of AMWA’s newsletters.
• Assist with refreshing or editing website content.
• Schedules event, membership, and committee meetings.
• Coordinates travel for the CEO.
• Travels to meetings as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Education:

• College degree or equivalent experience.
