Stanford Law School's External Relations Office seeks to hire an Advancement Marketing Coordinator. The Advancement Marketing Team is responsible for planning and executing a broad range of development communications, events, and stewardship activities designed to strengthen ties between the school and its donors and alumni, and to encourage philanthropic engagement. Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations and Development Communications, this individual's primary responsibility will be supporting Stanford Law School's commitment to the outstanding cultivation and stewardship of its donors. In this role you will provide administrative support to our fundraising programs and activities.
CORE DUTIES:
Provide project and administrative support to the Advancement Marketing team. This includes: producing meeting agendas, updating and maintaining accurate project and donor records; helping to prepare and disseminate reports and donor lists, and data entry.
Helping to respond to inquiries from constituents and determine and take appropriate action as required.
Assist in the design, publication and production of marketing/fundraising materials. This includes: Drafting and/or generating routine communications; coordinating production (formatting, copying, etc.) and dissemination of documents, such as presentations, proposals, reports and or emails.
Build a network of relevant contacts, and stay informed on current university initiatives and activities. Review and track funds and report on use of gifts and conduct research as assigned.
Assist in the planning, implementation and staffing of donor cultivation and other special events as needed.
Retrieve information about prospects and donors, update records, and generate reports using the university's external relations database.
Review calendars for upcoming travel/projects/events to determine actions needed for successful and timely completion.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree (preferred) and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office suite.
* Knowledge of database systems, such as Microsoft Access, Oracle Business Intelligence, Blackbaud, or Salesforce.
* Ability to work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
* Outstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*: * Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, sit, and use a telephone, stand/walk. * Occasionally light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand. * Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license. *Consistent with its obligations under the law, the University will provide reasonable accommodation to any employee with a disability who requires accommodation to perform the essential functions of the job.

The expected pay range for this position is $66,000 to $81,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
