The Senior Marketing and Advertising Specialist supports the mission of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by communicating Dana-Farber???s clinical capabilities and life-changing research advances to key audiences. ??With direction from senior marketing leaders, this position will assist in the development, implementation, and management of marketing and advertising initiatives to meet Dana-Farber???s business goals. This position will work in close collaboration with agency partners, external vendors, and affiliated partner hospitals.

This position???s work location is partial remote with two or three days per week remote. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).????
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Marketing and Advertising Specialist will assist in all aspects of Dana-Farber???s national reputation advertising and regional adult clinical marketing campaigns. Primary duties include:
Managing and facilitating reviews and edits to campaign assets
Organizing and managing efforts to leverage campaigns on Dana-Farber???s media channels, e.g. website and social media
Understanding and maintaining knowledge of the competitive landscape (competitor insights and oncology marketing trends)
Leading consumer marketing for select Dana-Farber network locations
Creating and maintaining a shared internal advertising creative asset library
Collaborating with department team members to develop and/or support comprehensive communications plans and reports for select internal clients
Assisting with other duties and special projects as needed
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor???s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent experience; Master???s degree preferred
5 years??? experience in an advertising/marketing or healthcare marketing role; Agency experience preferred
Experience with project management (project planning, budget management, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising practices and solutions, including SEM and social media
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective project management skills with ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
Ability to work independently and proactively
Ability to interact and communicate with different levels of leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, and other collaborative work tools
