SUMMARY The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for managing the university’s martech stack, including website development and maintenance, CRM integration, SEO/SEM optimization, email campaign management, and reporting on digital analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other tasks and duties may be assigned by your supervisor.
Leads web development projects from inception to deployment throughout the university for arbor.edu and other affiliated sites
Maintains all SAU websites, including usability design, functionality, accessibility, SEO, information architecture, and navigation
Analyzes web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence
Monitors SEO/SEM, marketing, and engagement performance metrics to forecast trends
Establishes best practices in digital marketing
Stays up to date with digital technologies developments
Utilizes technology to integrate website with CRM as well as with marketing automation systems
Monitors and reports on digital analytics to ensure the university is meeting their goals
Supports departments via CMS training, usage assistance and account administration
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of Marketing and Communications team, this position reports directly to the Marketing Director. Serves on committees as deemed appropriate. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree desired in marketing, communications, or other related field
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, specifically G4
Solid knowledge of Google Adwords
Experience using Google Tag Manager
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Candidate must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks, and possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, research, project management, and written and verbal skills
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
