MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL), to develop communication, marketing, design and branding implementation, and promotions activities in collaboration with marketing and communications staff and other internal stakeholders. Will develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy to gain local, national, and international recognition of CTL as a leader in supply chain management, executive education, and research. This will involve working closely with the Supply Chain Management Program, SCALE Network, MicroMaster's Program, Supply Chain Exchange Program, and CTL's director and researchers to promote its research, educational programs, and events to stakeholders.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; at least three years' experience in marketing, communications, or related field, preferably in a higher education or research environment; experience managing social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and website content management systems (Drupal, WordPress); high-level proficiency with customer relations management platforms (Salesforce, MailChimp), design software (Adobe Creative Suite--Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), and MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); knowledge of basic web design and HTML; strong verbal and written communication skills, including composing and editing/proofreading high-quality content for a variety of channels/audiences; and strong organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple simultaneous requests to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and industry partners. PREFERRED: master's degree in a related field; web design experience; experience with enrollment marketing and lead generation for academic programs; knowledgeable about paid media creation (text and display ads) and analytics and experience working with paid media vendors; journalism, content marketing, or other communications writing experience; flexibility and adaptability; and collaboration skills.
