Creighton University Athletics is actively seeking a Graduate Assistant to work as part of the marketing and corporate partnership teams. We are looking for a well-organized, responsible, and outgoing individual to provide the necessary support to the Director of Corporate Partnerships who oversees the corporate partnerships rights of the Athletic Department. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and have a passion for sports, we want to meet you! This position will provide excellent on-site marketing and sales training within the sports and entertainment industry.
This role will have many responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Fulfilling advertising/sponsorship packages
•Coordinating with corporate partners to ensure all contract fulfillment is executed.
•All aspects of customer service and client relationship building, including:
•Cultivating relationships with current and prospective sponsors
•Entertaining existing and new sponsors during hospitality and athletic events
•Assist with game day and event operations, including set up of select in-venue signage, hospitality events/suites, and game day displays.
•Office and administrative support
•Assist with external events including staffing and operations
•Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in sport management, marketing, sales, public relations, advertising, or related field.
Admission to the School of Graduate Studies and a Master’s Program at Creighton University.
High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently
Highly organized; able to prioritize and execute tasks
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
Additionally, the candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to initiate and maintain personal relationships as well as maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure. Capable with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred but not required.
