The Marketing Manager works as a member of ILTA’s Service Delivery team and reports to the VP of Service Delivery. This role’s primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the marketing strategies, content campaigns, and events to promote ILTA membership, partnerships, and educational programs.
This role works closely with all departments to write and deliver informative promotional materials and campaigns supporting membership benefits and programs, business partner benefits and updates, and educational offerings such as webinars, publication articles, surveys, podcasts, blogs, conferences/events, and other offerings.
Create, manage, and publish multi-channel marketing campaigns that lead to membership and partner engagement, retention, and acquisition. Typically, a yearly campaign around association strategic plan.
Includes emails, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
Involves writing content, creating graphics, and drafting emails in Predictive Response/Salesforce
Working with volunteers, members, and business partners for testimonials, videos, blogs, etc.
Updating webpage in Higher Logic platform or coordinating with Creative Director to build page template
Manage email calendar for association-wide and business partners messaging.
Ensures best practices for timing, segments, and templates for emails going to all members and ILTAns
Manage branding, tone of voice, and graphics in emails to ensure consistency
Create or assist with creating or editing emails for association announcements, publications, membership, digital event invites, conferences, and business partner communications.
Create marketing plan/strategy for event promotions for 10+ events and conferences per year
Create calendar for email, social media, video, and egroup posts
Coordinate branding and email templates with Creative Lead
Create hashtag and other promotional assets for each event
Graphics and copy for social media and email (I.e. feed posts, header images, email signatures)
