- Management experience in leading a team, supervising staff, and professional development
- Experience with career services management platforms and tools, e.g., Handshake

- Effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Experience in counseling, advising or teaching of students/adults on their career/professional development

- Ability to embrace and drive change and to organize and manage multiple priorities, programs, and projects, both independently and in a team
- Proficient in the use of web-based software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication, program planning, presentation, and computer skills
- Ability to establish rapport and relate well to students, faculty, employers, and staff
- Ability to work with a diverse population of team members and constituents
- Willingness to work collaboratively with academic units
