Responsibilities
With general guidance and instruction from principal Advisors, create an annual schedule of in-person and virtual events.
Ownership of planning and executing - Manage all aspects of marketing the event. Plan & coordinate logistics, vendor selection (some negotiation & contract review), promotion & communications for events, follow-up after events, tracking & reporting results, etc.
Coordinate and manage pre- and post-event communication and outreach to Clients, Prospects and Other Professionals.
Ensuring compliance - Become familiar with and adhere to relevant compliance and legal guidelines to help expedite review process.
Handling and posting all social media content to assure relevance, interest and compliance.
Perform data analysis and reporting to measure the effectiveness and results of events, communications, outreaches, and marketing tactics.
Achieving goals and objectives of the Marketing & Communications Plan,
Other Marketing, Client Service and Administrative work to help the team, fill-in when and where needed and to complete responsibilities of the position.
Required Qualifications
This individual has proven event execution experience, is highly organized and detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They bring a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and strong project management skills. They have excellent writing and communication skills for event promotion, compelling social media content, and other outreaches to clients, guests and other professionals.
Ability to work freely and as a member of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines across multiple communications, events and projects simultaneously, prioritizing demands on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
At least 2 years' experience in a project management role in Event/Marketing environment.
Effective in providing exceptional client service and is a motivational leader among team members, vendors and other professionals delivering required services.
Financial knowledge helpful.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or equivalent.
Background with metrics development, tracking, and reporting. Ability to focus on the "bottom line".
Fluent with Microsoft Office tools/programs, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
