The coordinator of marketing operations will work to ensure productivity and smooth operations of all functions within the Office of Marketing and Communications by providing leadership in the areas of marketing operations and student employee resources, administrative and office manager support, and budget management.
Responsibilities
Provide supervision and oversight to all operations functions within marketing, including mailing and fulfillment.
Facilitate proofing and sending of emails and materials with campus partners in collaboration with project managers .
Implement new processes to improve marketing department efficiency and agility.
Ensure smooth cross-functioning of different sub-departments.
Provide support and project management to special projects as assigned.
Hire and train student staff, ensuring the right students are hired to support the various marketing functions.
Provide ongoing logistical supervision for students, including onboarding, timesheet approval, and schedules.
Ensure effective use of student resources, including providing support to functional student supervisors, ensuring quality experience for student employees, and ensuring student resources are leveraged to effectively support marketing objectives.
Provide support to the director of marketing related to calendar and meetings, credit card and expense reports, and preparation for meetings by researching and preparing documents and presentations.
Manage office functions, including supply ordering and inventory, room reservations and scheduling, and coordination of team meetings and events.
Assists marketing leadership in creating and tracking the progress of the annual marketing budget, including strategic planning, auditing, and reporting.
Monitors budgets and financial performance, including the identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Processes billings, invoices, and credit cards for marketing expenses, ensuring accurate accounting and processes are followed.

Experience with email automation software such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Required Experience
3-5 years of experience in a marketing, advertising, and/or public relations.
Experience working with cross-functional teams of direct and/or indirect reports .
Previous operations, management, and assistant support experience.
Higher education or agency experience preferred.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Additional Information
Must be comfortable with an open office space and hybrid work schedule.
Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
