Under the direction of the Director, Marketing, this position will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns to support ENDO, the Society’s annual meeting. In addition, this role will be primarily tasked supporting the Society’s education portfolio and the Society’s External Exhibits function, including planning, on-site participation, post-event reporting, and follow-up engagement with potential prospects. The incumbent will collaborate across several departments at the Society, including Membership and Education among others. The Specialist has experience working across all channels, both traditional and digital marketing strategies, including direct mail, email, web, and social media. The Specialist, Marketing will provide a unique blend of technical, consultative, and interpersonal skills to drive the right marketing solutions to improve member engagement, increase revenue, and grow Society brand awareness.
What you’ll bring to the job:
Exceptionally organized plus strong copy writing and editing skills
1-3 years of experience developing and implementing marketing plans
Ability to travel internationally required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with email marketing systems, knowledge with Higher Logic is a plus
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate written and verbally inside and outside the organization
Proven track record of effective teamwork, both internal and external, in dealings with members and collaborators
Manual dexterity and ability to lift 50+ pounds required
BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or English preferred
Experience working at a health or science focused association is a plus

What you’ll own:
Support implementation of marketing plans for ENDO, the Society’s annual meeting, to drive both registration for and engagement during the conference.
Assist with marketing the Society’s education portfolio, including sponsored education activities on the Center for Learning.
Manage the Society’s external exhibits function as the project lead to include the annual strategy kick-off meeting with internal stakeholders to identify key performance indicators, project management, planning and execution, on-site participation, and post-event reporting using data and metrics.
Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for emails, print pieces, and social media and identify best practices in marketing content copy.
Use data/metrics to monitor and report on program/campaign progress and proactively communicate results to marketing team to optimize future campaigns.
Develop content for Endocrine eNews, our weekly e-newsletter, as well as promotions served on the endocrine.org website.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure appropriate timing and placement for a broad range of marking activities with other Society initiatives and strategies and identify cross promotional opportunities.
Work closely with the Creative Services team to develop print and digital assets that support broader marketing plans, ensuring pieces adhere to brand standards and are appealing to recipients.
Supporting the Director, Marketing as requested to meet deadlines and fulfill responsibilities as an active member of the Marketing team.
