Keep Music Alive is seeking Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 Intern to assist with marketing activities for Teach Music Week, Kids Music Day and our year-round Musical Instrument Petting Zoo program. Your responsibilities may include:
*Managing social media accounts
*Helping to maintain relationships with current partners (email & phone)
*Reaching out to potential new industry and corporate partners
*Assisting with Teach Music Week/Kids Music Day email campaigns to music schools, stores and organizations
*Helping at our Musical Instrument Petting Zoo events (if local to Philly area) and helping us expand the program to other cities by partnering with other organizations.

Keep Music Alive is a national non-profit on a mission to help more children (and adults) reap the educational, therapeutic and social benefits of playing music. Our major programs are Teach Music Week (March), Kids Music Day (October) and year-round Musical Instrument Petting Zoo events. Each year we partner with over 1,000 music schools, stores and organizations in a dozen countries to offer free lessons to new students and hold special events and promotions that benefit and celebrate kids playing music. Keep Music Alive is also the presenting organization for Make Music Day in the Philadelphia region (Make Music Philly). Our goal is not to turn every child into a professional musician (though some will be). Instead, our goal is to give every child the best chance of success no matter what career path they choose later in life. Learning to play music is what gives them that chance.
