Renaissance School is seeking a driven, organized, motivated, and experienced candidate to lead our admissions and marketing program. The Director of Marketing and Admissions position is a full-time position at Renaissance School. This role will examine, define, and conduct our admissions process and promote our school to prospective students and their guardians. The candidate will oversee promotional activities, marketing and outreach opportunities, schedule and conduct tours and interviews, and design information sessions and open houses. Director of Marketing and Admissions will help establish and update our procedures and criteria, work with potential students to determine their eligibility and oversee the admissions process. The candidate will also lead all marketing efforts, including overseeing the marketing budget, with the Head of School. The Director of Marketing and Admissions should be committed to promoting Renaissance School, understanding our school’s history, and attracting academically and artistically motivated candidates. This candidate should be engaging, highly organized, and analytical with exceptional communication skills. This position will require community outreach and connection. Director of Marketing and Admissions Responsibilities: • Working with area middle schools to find strong student candidates • Assisting in the admissions decision-making process as student applications are evaluated and accepted or denied • Providing clear communication to parents, students and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes, financial aid applications, enrollment issues, or other procedures • Designing and defining marketing and outreach opportunities • Engaging in the recruiting process by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, campus tours, student interviews, and other admissions activities • Overseeing all marketing materials including online, print, and radio • Reviewing and interpreting student information, including test scores, extracurricular activities, and grades • Communicating changes, statistics, and other information to the Head of School
Director of Admissions and Marketing Requirements: • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree • 3+ years experience in education, admissions, and/or marketing • Understanding of statistics, admissions requirements and procedures, school funding, and financial aid application processes • Comfort with community connections and outreach • Experience with independent school admissions is a plus • Ability to analyze and interpret information and data • Strong interpersonal, presentation, networking, and verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with computers • Marketing experience (online, website, social media, etc.) is an advantage
