The Registration, Marketing, & Communications Associate is responsible for managing the on-line registration system for MarineQuest. This includes technical support and troubleshooting, customer service, enrollment tracking and assessment, and report preparation, and provides annual and seasonal updates to the system. This provides customer service by responding to phone and email inquiries related to applications, confirmation materials and registrations.
The Registration, Marketing, & Communications Associate coordinates the interface of the registration system with MarineQuest's websites which serve as main marketing avenues and also manages duties such as including search engine optimization, site mapping, daily updates to website content (enrollment status, blogs, photos). This position manages all social media efforts, creates promotional email blasts, flyers, newsletters, Facebook campaigns, and other marketing duties. This position works in tandem with the MarineQuest budget coordinator to submit a marketing plan and handle marketing vendor relations and products in print, radio, and television. Responsibilities include creating and tracking on-line surveys and evaluation tools specific to MarineQuest, and maintaining participant databases based on these tools. This position also assists with simple statistical analysis of data collected for reporting purposes.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Website development (using Cascade, Wordpress or Wix programs) and management (search engine optimization and site mapping)
Proficiency with Adobe Professional software and Microsoft Office (particularly excel database)
Proficiency with graphics manipulation software
Ability to take quality digital photos
Some html coding experience for creating email blasts using MailChimp or similar program
Familiarity with survey creations through Qualtrics, Google docs or similar tools.
Required Certifications or Licensure:
Valid NC driver's license
