Role Details
As a Product Marketing Team Lead - Americas, your key responsibilities are:
Leading Team responsible for creating, authoring and maintaining product marketing materials to support sales and retention efforts for both the Institutional and Wholesale/Retail distribution channels
Working with Product Development, Coverage and Communications & Marketing to formulate and define the marketing strategy, positioning, content development, and measurement of DWS products with the goal of improving and enhancing our ability to retain and grow assets
Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to lead complex projects; ability to turn ideas into actionable items; agility to stay on task in a dynamic and constantly changing environment; motivated with strong drive for business results
Driving continuous improvement of Product Marketing by embracing technology and automating manual processes; upholding highest levels of compliance and controls processes
You will also be tasked with:
Continuously improve the framework for creating, refining, and articulating compelling messaging, differentiation, and positioning for DWS's products
Create and maintain product content across a broad array of marketing vehicles to support sales and retention efforts for both the institutional and wholesale /retail distribution channels, including: fact sheets, presentations, sales flyers, talking points, sales ideas, etc.
Experienced in working collaboratively with Compliance in order to make marketing materials available for use by key stakeholders in accordance with the latest FINRA and SEC rules and regulations.
Work well under pressure with ability to meet tight deadlines. Can easily coordinate and find the nexus between multiple teams (particularly Compliance, Design and Digital) with the ability to quickly prioritize.
Have deep understanding of various asset classes and can step in to help members of the team in a variety of areas on an ad hoc basis, particularly from a Compliance/Regulatory perspective.
Gather, organize and analyze data (e.g. performance, rankings, ratings) to develop compelling product positioning that can be used in marketing materials.
Help facilitate and work within framework of quarter-end responsibilities. Assist in planning/executing quarterly update of all performance collateral under tight deadlines, ensuring updates prior to any data expiration.
Work with various departments to help manage product marketing projects from inception through completion, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Collaborate with Channel Marketing partners to generate ideas for new ways to package and distribute product content to institutional and wholesale/retail channels.
Maintain a strong command of sustainability topics such as ESG and diversity and inclusion that are core to the firm's investment philosophy.
Help govern consistency of product messaging and data reporting across product marketing materials.

We are looking for:
As a Team Lead, Product Marketing for the Americas, you will bring a blend of strategic, operational, and tactical execution skills to foster alignment across channel marketing teams, deliver change management, and identify opportunities for collaborative process improvements.
10-12+ years of product marketing experience within asset management
Experience improving product development processes and driving organizational change; automation of manual processes
Deep understanding of the investment management industry, across all asset classes, channels.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7 and Series 24 are required for the role.
ETF and Mutual Fund experience required
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud required
Clear communicator able to operate at all levels in the organization and across cultural boundaries
Demonstrated ability to think critically and challenge stakeholders effectively to advance overall sales and marketing goals for the organization
Able to act as liaison to Investment Team, Product Specialists and Coverage
Ability to filter and prioritize ideas from wider teams
Used to a matrix environment and familiar with managing multiple international stakeholders.
Able to write compelling product marketing copy
Excellent Attention to detail
Excellent communicator, comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences through written and verbal communication
Able to find new ways to reach and engage target audiences
Certifications: Industry certification or FINRA licensing required Series 6, 7, 24; Chartered Financial Analyst or Certified Investment Management Analyst preferred
Ability to work and deliver results independently, self-starter

The salary range for this position in New York City is $99,000 to $166,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration
