We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team here at the Corn Exchange Manchester.
This is a premier leisure venue housed in a historic Corn Exchange. Built-in 1837, the Corn Exchange stands in the Medieval Quarter, one of the oldest areas of Manchester City Centre and is home to a wide variety of dining options as well as an escape room, Sixes Social Cricket experience and aparthotel.
You will have autonomy for the marketing strategy and deliver tactical execution of campaigns and events that enhance footfall, profile and/or revenue at this flagship Leisure destination. Working closely with your colleagues and in particular our Head of Place Activation & Enlivenment.
What we are looking for from you, is someone who has an in-depth knowledge of the leisure environment, whether that is agency or inhouse. You will be someone who is well connected within Manchester and able to raise the profile of one of the city's most exciting destinations through an effective marketing strategy.
Required Skills & Expertise
* 3-5 years' marketing management experience, within a fast paced, customer focussed environment. * Expertise across the full marketing mix including specifically, social and digital management experience, events, PR, brand awareness and an understanding of brand management * Experience of managing significant budgets * High level of experience of supplier and agency management * Ability to present to clients and colleagues at a strategic level * Experience of leisure industry and good knowledge of current hospitality and leisure trends
