This position is responsible for directing and overseeing marketing and communication strategies for hospital as well as physician services.
Develops marketing and communications strategy
Implements plans for â€¢ Website and social media; â€¢ Internal communications(employees and physicians); â€¢ Public relations/earned media; â€¢ Community and EMS newsletter (if applicable); â€¢ Coordination/engagement in community events; â€¢ Management of Function Point and Spark portal.
Serves as advertising conduit with local hospital leadership and HSC marketing
Coordinates crisis communications with HSC Communications
Partners with Division Marketing and Communications Director for more complex situations and strategies
Engages with hospital CEO to ensure alignment on hospital priorities
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations required
Minimum Work Experience Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in developing and executing healthcare marketing strategies and public relations, to include management experience. Hospital experience preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
