The Marketing Content Strategist and Project Manager will assist campus partners in defining and achieving marketing and tactical communication plans for recruitment and retention initiatives with a variety of audiences. Consult with and advise campus partners regarding project and program objectives and outcomes, and how this integrates with larger University goals and complements other programs.
Required Qualifications::
Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, or related field
3 years of marketing and project management experience, including experience building strategic marketing and/or communications plans
3 years of demonstrated writing experience across all communication channels, including websites, email marketing, social media and/or print marketing materials
Demonstrated experience in a multi-client, multi-project environment
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications::
Master's degree in marketing, english, business administration, business analytics, or related field
Experience in higher education, specifically in enrollment management
Writing to brand and campaign standards
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite
Essential Functions and percent of time::
50% – Project manager
Direct projects while meeting multiple deadlines that result in client satisfaction, maintaining quality control and consistent standards
Work directly with clients to develop project budget, schedules, approvals, and deliverables
Establish project timelines, clearly communicate those to all collaborators and ensure projects remain on schedule to ensure deadlines and project goals are met
Input and correctly utilize the project management tools to facilitate work and collaboration with marketing team members
Provide strategic guidance in the formation of advertising and communications plans
Assist in the creative process for various publications, communications, advertising, or web projects
Identify alternative channels for targeted communication of key marketing messages
Ensure quality and cost controls
