Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing or communication, plus 2-4 years of related experience
Excellent written and oral skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to interview, gather, and translate information into cohesive material ready for public consumption.Familiarity with AP Style Guide. Ability to articulate a unique value proposition and expound the benefits of educational programs to multiple personas.
Time management skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quick turnaround. Data-driven and highly analytical.Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Summary of Duties: Plan and execute multichannel advertising campaigns for new and existing programs for Ohio State Newark and COTC. Create content for multiple channels, placing ads in media, and collaborating with MPR social media and web management team members. Create content for all conventional recruitment collateral for Ohio State Newark and COTC, such as Viewbooks, videos, posters, flyers, postcards, billboards, etc. Ensure written content follows institutional editorial, voice, tone and visual identity guidelines. Conduct interviews of faculty, staff and alumni for compelling testimonial stories to be used in advertising and communication material - both digital and print. Create content for annual Impact and Progress Reports, for external stakeholders.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 p.m. Evenings and Weekends may be required occasionally.
