St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Marketing and Communications Graduate Assistant. This is a two-year position and reports to the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications.
The individual is expected to follow all NCAA, Conference, and College policies. Acceptance into the St. Norbert MBA program is required. A stipend and housing are provided. The start date is June 1, 2025.
Specific Responsibilities:
Serve as media contact for select sports and provide on-site coverage. Write/disseminate press releases, manage web/social content, and oversee game day operations for assigned sports.
Develop marketing strategies and on-site activations for the department to engage with the campus and local community.
Manage athletic ticketing, including single-game tickets, season tickets, group tickets, etc. Assist with preparing sponsorship materials for current and potential partners.
Assist in developing and implementing video and social media strategies to promote the department.
Assist with the planning and execution of initiatives, including, but not limited to: annual golf tournament, Hall of Fame induction, student-athlete banquet, publicity photo shoots, game day marketing events, etc.
Supervision Exercised Over:
1-3 student workers.
Working Conditions:
The position involves work at competition/practice venues and on-campus, often requiring weekends, early mornings, and evenings, with regular travel expected.
