Are you a detail-oriented but nimble marketing writer? Are you looking to grow your skills in a creative environment? Want to be part of a team helping drive broadband adoption and supporting the communications efforts of cooperative and municipal electric utilities across the U.S.
Pioneer Utility Resources and its communications subsidiaries work to support the efforts of rural electric and telecommunications companies across the U.S. as they engage with their communities.
We are hiring a remote, full-time marketing copywriter. In this position, you will be responsible for translating a marketing strategy into print projects, press releases, social media posts, and more, while ensuring consistency across campaigns. In any given week you may help script video productions, write taglines, or pitch in on feature-length stories. Versatility and breadth of expertise are important.
You will also be expected to lend your voice in client marketing strategy meetings and help craft messages that lead to successful campaigns. As such, knowledge of and experience in the industries we serve is much preferred.
We are looking for someone able to prioritize smartly, remain organized, and juggle multiple priorities throughout a given workweek. You enjoy that sense of satisfaction that comes when a project is marked “complete,” but you won’t shortcut creative thinking to get there. You’re motivated by knowing not only that the client is happy, but also that the rest of the creative team, including our graphic designers, were able to run with your writing and use their skills to create something truly impactful.
