The Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play a crucial role in executing CGA's marketing and communications strategies and member engagement efforts. In addition this position will support the marketing, event, education and program teams to develop and implement effective campaigns that promote CGA's mission, initiatives and achievements to various stakeholders. This position will report to the Vice President, Strategic Communications.
Responsibilities
Campaign Development and Management
Support development and execution of multi-channel campaigns for CGA's programs, events and initiatives
Create engaging content strategies for CGA's digital channels and events in support of the organization's mission, programs and committees
Manage email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including segmentation, automation and performance tracking
Coordinate the intake, scheduling, placement and tracking of digital advertising assets, ensuring alignment with sponsorship agreements and timelines
Digital Marketing and Content Creation
Design and produce marketing materials (digital and physical), graphics and visual content using Canva and other design tools
Maintain and update content on CGA's digital properties (including social media channels) using WordPress and other content management systems
Write, edit and distribute emails, web content, member communications, promotional materials and other campaign assets
Support influencer marketing campaigns, including managing existing creator relationships, identifying new content creators suitable for partnership and executing outreach
Coordinate with consultants to ensure high-quality designs, videos and collateral on deadline
Event and Stakeholder Communications
Assist in planning and executing communication strategies for CGA events such as annual conference, biannual committee meetings and additional public- or policy-driven events
Provide on-site support for media and social media activities during events, including influencer/content creator management
Assist in developing communication materials for various CGA initiatives, programs and committees
Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies to increase member engagement and retention, as well as supporting development of materials to recruit new members
Create targeted marketing communications for various member segments and stakeholder groups
Reporting and Analytics
Monitor and report on the performance of communication efforts across various channels
Track ROI and analyze effectiveness of marketing initiatives to optimize budget allocation and inform future outreach
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital marketing, public relations or a related field
Three to five years of experience in digital marketing, communications or a related role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including familiarity with AP Style
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in social media design, management and content creation tools
Familiarity with web content management systems and basic HTML
Experience with email marketing campaigns and marketing automation preferred
Knowledge of or interest in utility damage prevention, public safety, association communications or related fields is a plus
